Pastor Todd Poynter was born in 1972 in Louisiana. At the age of 3, Pastor Poynter’s family moved to northern Indiana. During a service at his home church in 1984, God convicted Pastor Poynter’s heart of his need for a Savior. During the invitation, Pastor Poynter went forward and accepted Jesus as his Savior.
At the age of 23, God led Pastor Poynter to start GBBC. By faith, Pastor Poynter and his wife, Denise, moved to Greenwood, Indiana to start our church. Since then, the Lord has used Pastor Poynter and his wife to reach our community with the gospel of Christ. God’s faithfulness has been shown as our church has grown both physically and spiritually.
When not at the church, you will find Pastor Poynter and his wife spending time with their six children.
